Mr. Atsushi Nozaki, the Senior Director of Tokyo-based Landon IP GK, has been appointed the General Advisor of the 3i Study Group, effective August 20. The 3i Study Group started in 2013 and is an association that studies the utilization of patent and non-patent information, such as business, marketing, and technical literature information. The sponsor of the 3i Study Group is INFOSTA (Information Science and Technology Association, Japan) and co-hosts are JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency) and G-Search. 3i Study Group regular meetings are held in both Tokyo and Osaka once a month, and the final reporting session will be held in June 2016.

Mr. Nozaki is a well-known expert on patent searching and analytics among the IP community in Japan. He is frequently invited to lecture on patent-related topics by many IP organizations in Japan.
